Invitation: Equality Bill (McGrigors Seminar) - Apr 2010
DATE: Thursday 20th May 2010
VENUE: McGrigors, 5 Old Bailey , London EC4M 7BA
Will the Equality Bill bring about significant changes to how employers approach and deal with diversity issues? Jointly with Schneider-Ross, the leading consultancy in equality, diversity, and inclusion, McGrigors will look at what changes the Equality Bill may bring.
From a legal perspective, there are a number of issues which employers will have to address, such as the new issue of combined discrimination, the prohibition on pre-employment health questionnaires, and what associative and perceptive discrimination will mean in practice.
But it's not just about the legals… Schneider-Ross has worked with private and public sector employers to develop a strategic approach to taking forward diversity and inclusion, and has a unique insight into the way that business-driven actions make a compelling case for increasing diversity.
McGrigors and Schneider-Ross will look at recent developments in equality, demonstrating the issues using case studies and real-life examples.
