Global Diversity Network - A New Approach - Apr 2010
Venue Vodafone's Offices
Timing 8:30am - 4pm
Back in 2000, we helped establish the Global Diversity Network - a group of leading global organisations working together on diversity and inclusion issues and learning from each others ideas, initiatives and best practices. During its 10 years members have worked together in a variety of different ways - with face to face meetings, conference calls and generating benchmarking and research reports. At the heart of all these activities has been a joint commitment to making progress on diversity and inclusion in a global environment and an openness to share experience and help others avoid having to learn the lessons the hard way.
In October, current and past members of the Network along with organisations who are keen to be involved in the future, will be meeting to celebrate the last decade and share best practice case studies on Day 1. Day 2 of the meeting will be an opportunity to agree a new way of working for the GDN. We believe the days when there could be a common annual programme to which all members signed up are past and we are proposing a new project-driven approach. This will enable members to focus on issues that are of most concern to their business; bring in new organisations who have a mutual interest in these topics and provide access to Schneider~Ross consultancy and support as and when required. As has been the case for several years, this will continue to be on a not for profit basis.
The meeting on Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st October 2010 at Vodafone's London Paddington offices will be an opportunity to hear more about the exciting way the network will operate in the future. Do please let us know whether this is of interest.
